Terms & Conditions


  • 1. General

    These Terms & Conditions govern all orders placed with George’s Konditorei through our website or other ordering channels.

    By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

    2. Products

    All products are handcrafted cakes, pastries, and sweets.

    • Product images are for illustration purposes
    • Slight variations in design, color, or decoration may occur
    • Availability of specific items may change without prior notice

    3. Orders

    • Orders are confirmed only after successful checkout/payment
    • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders if necessary
    • Customers are responsible for providing accurate information

    4. Pricing & Payment

    • All prices are in Omani Rial (OMR)
    • Prices may include or exclude VAT (as displayed on the website)
    • Payment must be completed at checkout unless otherwise agreed

    5. Delivery

    Delivery Area

    • Delivery is currently available within the Muscat area only, from Ruwi to Mabella.
    • Orders with a delivery address outside this area cannot be accepted.

    Delivery Time

    • We aim to deliver within up to 3 hours from order confirmation
    • Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees

    Delivery Method

    • Delivery is made to the address provided by the customer
    • Orders may be:
      • handed over personally, or
      • delivered to reception/security (with confirmation, e.g. photo)

    Customer Responsibility

    • The customer must be reachable by phone
    • Failed delivery due to no response may result in delays or cancellation

    6. Failed Deliveries

    If delivery cannot be completed due to:

    • incorrect address
    • no response
    • refusal to accept order

    We reserve the right to:

    • charge for redelivery, or
    • cancel the order without refund

    7. Refunds & Returns


    Due to the perishable nature of our products:

    • ❌ No returns are accepted
    • ❌ No refunds after delivery

    Exceptions (case-by-case only):

    Refund or replacement may be considered if:

    • the wrong product was delivered
    • the product is significantly damaged upon delivery

    👉 Claims must be reported immediately upon delivery with photo evidence.

    8. Order Changes & Cancellations

    • Changes or cancellations are only possible before preparation begins
    • Once production has started, cancellation is not possible

    9. Quality & Storage

    • Products must be stored according to instructions (e.g. refrigeration)
    • We are not responsible for quality issues after delivery due to improper storage

    10. Allergies & Ingredients

    • Our products may contain allergens (e.g. nuts, dairy, gluten)
    • Customers are responsible for checking before ordering

    We do not guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

    11. Liability

    We are not liable for:

    • delays caused by traffic or external factors
    • customer unavailability
    • incorrect delivery details provided by the customer

    Our liability is limited to the value of the order.

    12. Data & Privacy

    Customer data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

    13. Governing Law

    These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.

    14. Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
